The Xgard range is a comprehensive selection of fixed multi gas detectors that meet the diverse requirements for gas detection in industries throughout the world. This includes many water treatment, oil and gas, power, research facility and manufacturing installations
Intrinsically Safe (I.S.) or Flameproof (Exd) versions are available
Case options comprising high-grade alloy, stainless steel or chemically resistant GRN polymer
Certifications include IECEx, ATEX, PESO and UL.
High temperature models are available for hot environments (up to 150c)
Flame Detection
-
ANACON SFTX 7500 Flame detectors are the first line of defense in fire detection and extinguishing systems which provides an excellent safety measure against flame, preventing it from turning into a catastrophic fire, saving lives and assets.
ANACON SFTX 7500 infrared & ultraviolet flame detector contains UV and IR sensors with optical filters. The ultraviolet sensor operates in the short wave UV spectrum, thus making it blind to sunlight. The combination of multiple sensors makes the SFTX 7500 the ideal choice for flame detection with elimination of all sources of false alarms.

The Crowcon FGard IR3 flame detector is an explosion proof multi spectrum IR flame detector. FGard delivers superior performance, responding to hydrocarbon liquid fuel and gas fires at long distances.
The FGard IR3 delivers first-in-class flame detection with intelligent heated optics for clearer results and advanced optical verification to greatly reduce false alarms.
60 metre flame detection range – Will detect all Hydrocarbon fires which means no condensation forming on the window, improving reliability and performance across temperature.
Responds in less than 5 seconds to 0.1m² fire at 60 metres
Intelligent heated optics – No condensation / ice / water
Automatic test verifies cleanliness of the lens and electronic circuitry. No reflector optical check and large optical surface results in far fewer false alarms.
Gas Detection Control Panel
-
Crowcon’s enhanced Gasmaster gas detector control panel has a modular design meaning users only need purchase the required number of input modules. It can easily be extended by adding more modules at a later date.
All gas levels are displayed simultaneously – enables full systems status check at a glance.
Alarm messages can be customised to indicate the name or location of any detector in alarm.
All functions, from day-to-day operation to re-calibration, can be carried out from the front panel – routine testing can be performed rapidly.
-
